One Percent For The Planet

At Thirsty Buddha, there’s nothing we love more than being able to provide delicious hydration to the masses. What makes this process especially exciting for us is that we’re helping to introduce the western world to products that have been consumed for centuries in places half the world away.

However, we are also aware that the cost of business for any company includes taking a significant toll on the Earth and its resources. It’s for this reason that Thirsty Buddha has teamed up with One Percent For The Planet, an organization that connects business with non-profits to whom they pledge to donate 1% of their annual sales. 

In the ten years since its inception, One Percent For The Planet has matched 1,200 companies in 48 different countries with 3,300 charities- all of which benefit the environment and people in need. So far, over $100 million has been donated from member companies.

Thirsty Buddha, along with our parent company, Temple Lifestyle, are unwavering advocates of living in a way that embraces health and wellness. We also believe that wellness for the individual is impossible to achieve without conversely caring for those around us, and the Earth itself. For this reason we are excited to announce that we have chosen four wonderful non-profit organizations to which we will donating one percent of our profits annually: Oceana, Trees for the Future, Charity: Water and The David Suzuki Foundation.
